DAY 1 Friday, October 11
Behind the Scenes
Step behind the scenes at NPR HQ with your favorite NPR voices and explore topics like how podcasts are made, and the various risks that come with reporting from the field. We’ll share a page from the reporter’s notebook to learn their approach to a story.
Then, connect with fellow public radio supporters and NPR talent at the new International Spy Museum. After a rooftop cocktail reception, you’ll enjoy a seated dinner with a live program.
DAY 2 Saturday, October 12
On the Stage
Spend the day in general sessions at the Newseum with specialized beat journalists from across the newsroom and desks around the world who will explore current events as they unfold, and global issues dominating the news cycle. Then, step outside of breaking news for afternoon sessions that dive into the world of podcasting, where NPR’s programming is finding new ways to engage and inspire audiences across the country.
In the evening, join us for a live event at Sidney Harman Hall celebrating the lighter side of radio and the stories that connect, inspire, and entertain. A reception for Collective attendees will precede the public show.
